After one year at Oregon State reserve guard, Xavier Smith, has elected to transfer away from the program and pursue his academic and athletic career elsewhere. Smith announced his decision on Twitter last night.
The 6-foot-4 guard was a highly sought after walk-on out of O’Dea High School in Seattle. He appeared in 7 games for the Beavers as a freshman (playing a total of 17 minutes). We wish Smith the best wherever he decides to play next.
Baseball season is heating up as Oregon State looks to wrap up another successful regular-season with a series against a tough UCLA squad starting tonight.
