- Former Oregon State offensive lineman Will Hopkins was expected to be a focal point of the Beavers offensive line this season, before his announcement back in May that he would be leaving the Beavers program. On Wednesday, Hopkins, an immediately eligible graduate transfer, decided to transfer closer to his hometown of Austin, Texas and to suit up for the SMU Mustangs next season. The 6’ 7”, 295 pound talent has one season of eligibility remaining, that he will use as he pursues as a “Masters of Science in Management”.
