Welp the NCAA is back at it again. According to Dan Wolken of USA Today (story here). The NCAA is expected to approve new guidelines that would make it more difficult for athletes that transfer to receive immediate eligibility. This decision comes shortly after high-profile quarterbacks like Justin Fields and Tate Martell have been granted waivers for reasons that are unclear. Count me out for any guidelines or rules that punish student-athletes.
DI Council approves minor clarifications to 4 of 13 guidelines for transfer waivers. Adjustments intended to clarify requirements, get ADs more involved and give guidance to members.
