Portland, Eugene both submitting bids to host NCAA Tournament games between 2019 and 2022

Thanks to bids from each of its Pac-12 schools, the state of Oregon could host NCAA men's basketball tournament games in both Portland and Eugene between 2019 and 2022.

Oregon State will be the host school for a group submitting separate bids to accommodate a regional (Sweet 16 and Elite Eight) and a sub-regional (first two rounds) of the NCAA men's basketball tournament at the Moda Center in Portland during the four-year window.

Meanwhile, Oregon will look to help make Eugene a host for the first time since 1978, applying to bring a sub-regional to Matthew Knight Arena during the same four-year period.
