CORVALLIS, Ore. – Beau Philip went 4-for-5 with a double and Adley Rutschman hit a ninth-inning home run but Oregon State's late rally fell short in an 8-7 loss to Oklahoma State Sunday at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field.
Rutschman hit a solo home run to lead off the ninth and Tyler Malone hit a pinch hit single with two down but the Cowboys' (28-16 overall) Ben Leeper got Jake Dukart to fly out to end the game. Leeper earned his fifth save of the season in Oklahoma State's sweep.
