Philadelphia Eagles coach Doug Pederson and offensive coordinator Frank Reich each gave beleaguered starting left guard Isaac Seumalo a vote of confidence on Monday despite his poor performances in 2017.
Pederson appears to have changed his mind and decided to bench the former Oregon State offensive lineman on Wednesday.
Backup Chance Warmack reportedly was getting the first-team reps with the offense and Seumalo took snaps with the backups during Wednesday's practice.
Seumalo, the team's third-round pick (No. 79) in the 2016 NFL draft, has produced poor performances in 2017.
