CORVALLIS – As Oregon State starts its look for a new athletic director, baseball coach Pat Casey said Tuesday he is not a candidate for the position.
"My whole priority is coaching this baseball team right now and nothing else," Casey told The Oregonian/OregonLive. "I'm not a candidate for the job. I'm not interested in the job."
The 57-year-old Casey, who has won two College World Series championships in 22 seasons at Oregon State, said in May 2015 he "might" be interested in being an athletic director after Bob De Carolis stepped down from the role.
