NORMAN, Okla. – The Oregon State wrestling team concluded the regular season on Friday with a 29-7 loss to No. 21 Oklahoma at the McCasland Field House in Norman.
The Beavers (6-8, 4-1 Pac-12) got a major decision from (141) and a decision by (197) but their bid to upset the Sooners (10-6) for a second straight year was denied. OSU prevailed 22-12 in Corvallis in 2016.
Palmer trounced Dalton Duffield 19-7 for his tenth major decision of the season. He has won seven matches in a row and 9 of 10 to improve to 23-5, with four tech falls and four major decisions in that span.
