One of the wildest Pac-12 basketball seasons in memory is at its midway point.
Oregon has emerged as the frontrunner for the regular season conference crown. But unlike in prior years when Arizona emerged as the clear favorite, the Ducks have a one-game lead in the conference standings over four second-place teams (Colorado, USC, Utah and Washington).
After eight of 10 first team all-Pac-12 players either graduated or declared for the NBA draft, a new crop has emerged to help make the conference perhaps the deepest in college basketball.
To help make sense of the first half of league play, here are opinions on six midseason awards from Tyson Alger (@tysonalger) and Danny Moran (@DannyJMoran) of The Oregonian/OregonLive, Kyle Goon (@kylegoon) of The Salt Lake Tribune, Connor Letourneau (@Con_Chron) of the San Francisco Chronicle and Bruce Pascoe (@BrucePascoe) of the Arizona Daily Star.
