HONOLULU – The Oregon State volleyball team used a .366 hitting percentage and posted 50 kills to Idaho’s 26 in a straight-sets victory over the Vandals on Saturday night at the Stan Sheriff Center.
Oregon State opened the match with a .481 hitting percentage in the first set to seize the frame, 25-10. The Beavers held momentum throughout, closing out the three-set win with 25-19 victories in sets two and three.
In addition to nearly doubling Idaho’s kills total, the Beavers tallied 20 more assists than the Vandals, posting 45 helpers to the opposition’s 25, while also recording more digs, a category the Beavers led by a 47-34 margin.
