CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State volleyball team earned its first win of the season with a 4-1 victory over USC on Friday night inside Gill Coliseum.
The win marks the first for the program over the Women of Troy since 2008.
After USC took the first set 25-18, the Beavers swept the next three with scores of 25-22, 26-24, and 25-12.
Both teams traded points early as the teams were tied at 8-8 after the first 16 points. The teams continued to go back and forth until USC went on a 3-0 run to make it a 16-13 game in its favor and force an Oregon State timeout.
