TEMPE, Ariz. – The Oregon State volleyball team fell 25-18, 25-19 and 25-20 in a three-set loss to the seventh-ranked Arizona State Sun Devils from Wells Fargo Arena on Sunday afternoon.
Despite only being edged 43-33 in kills for the match, OSU (2-10) committed a season high for attack errors in a three-set match (25) to sink its hitting percentage to .070. ASU hit .200 for the match. The Sun Devils (13-0) held additional advantages in assists (41-31), digs (52-40) and blocks (12-5).
“We’ve got to do a better job of attacking the ball,” Oregon State head coach Taras Liskevych said.
