BERKELEY, Calif. – It was a hot hitting day for the Oregon State volleyball team as it hit a season-high .322 en route to a match and series sweep of California on Sunday afternoon in Haas Pavilion.
Oregon State earned its first match sweep of the season against California with set scores of 25-23, 25-13, and 25-20.
It was a hot start for the Beavers, registering 18 kills with a .333 attacking percentage in the opening set. After the teams traded points early, leading to a 7-4 Cal lead, Oregon State went on a 10-3 run that forced the Golden Bears to burn its first timeout.
