There has been plenty of interest in the Oregon State director of athletics position.
The search for candidates has been on since Bob De Carolis announced his intention to step down, with his final day on June 30.
Steve Clark, OSU's vice president for university relations and marketing, said the goal is to have a person in place by the time De Carolis leaves.
"We're still anticipating an announcement by June 30," Clark said. "The work of the search committee continues."
De Carolis would not recommend a candidate during a media teleconference on May 20, but mentioned OSU baseball coach Pat Casey and deputy athletic director Mark Massari.
