Even before the regular season ended chaos started to ensue amongst college football coaches. Brian Kelly and Lincoln Riley were the big names on the move, but today Mario Cristobal surprisingly left Oregon to take the head coaching job for Miami. Cristobal’s decision coupled with the firing of Jimmy Lake and Nick Rolovich means Jonathan Smith is now the only remaining Pac-12 head coach in the entire Pacific Northwest. When you look at the Pac-12 North, Oregon State football is in excellent position to compete for conference championships over the next few seasons.
Back where he belongs.
