Oregon State baseball had the look of a team getting back on track in the first two games against their in-state rivals, but they couldn’t complete the sweep Sunday afternoon. Oregon took the third game of the series, 3-2. Reliever, Ryne Nelson, had a huge game for the Ducks on the mound, limiting allowing just two run in 6.1 innings of work despite giving up 8 hits.
Christian Chamberlain got the start for the Beavers, but took the loss while giving up 3 runs in just 2 innings of work. Joey Mundt and Jake Mulholland were terrific in relief, but Oregon State’s offense did not give them a lot of support.
