POCATELLO, Idaho — Tanner Gueller passed for a career-best 338 yards and three touchdowns to help Idaho State beat Division II Simon Fraser 47-3 in the season opener for both teams on Saturday.
KW Williams had four receptions for 121 yards and a career-high tying two touchdowns and Jakori Ford added 68 yards rushing and a score for Idaho State.
Gueller hit Williams with scoring strikes of 37 and 63 yards — the former gave the Bengals a 7-0 lead fewer than 2½ minutes in and the latter made it 33-0 lead early in the second half.
