STANFORD, Calif. - Oregon State continued its 2018 theme of trying hard until the end, but on this Saturday night, it was nothing more than a pride thing.
The Beavers' grit this season has often given them chances to stay in games until the middle stage of the second half. Stanford never afforded such an opportunity, as the Cardinal scored touchdowns on five of their first six drives and rolled to a 48-17 win over Oregon State in smoky Stanford Stadium.
The Cardinal rolled up 406 of their 596 yards during the first half in sprinting to a 34-7 lead.
