Former Oregon State standouts John Didion and Jess Lewis are on the 2018 College Football Hall of Fame ballot, the The National Football Foundation (NFF) and College Hall of Fame announced Thursday morning.
Didion and Lewis were both members of OSU's infamous "Giant Killers. Didion, a center, was a unanimous first-team All-American in 1968. Lewis, a defensive tackle, was a first-team All-American in 1967.
Former Linfield coach Paul Durham, who won seven conference titles during his tenure from 1948-67 and was the 1962 NAIA Coach of the Year, is also on the ballot.
To be eligible for the 2018 ballot, players must have been named a first-team All-American by an organization recognized and utilized by the NCAA for their consensus All-America teams; played their last year of intercollegiate football at least 10 years prior; played within the last 50 years and cannot be currently playing professional football.
