CORVALLIS, Ore. – The No. 20 Oregon State softball team scored two runs in the seventh, but was unable to pull off the comeback win over No. 4 UCLA Sunday afternoon, as the Bruins swept the series with a 4-3 victory at Kelly Field.
The last six Pac-12 games for the Beavers have been decided by a single run as OSU drops to 31-15 overall and 7-11 during conference play.
The Beavers trailed 2-0 heading into the second, but a walk and a pair of Bruin miscues pulled the Orange & Black within one.
UCLA responded with insurance runs in the third and sixth innings.
