Oregon State receiver Seth Collins has been released from Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis after spending nearly two weeks being treated for an illness, the hospital confirmed to The Oregonian/OregonLive on Friday.
Collins, who was hospitalized the day after OSU's loss at UCLA on Nov. 12, has officially been ruled out of Saturday's Civil War contest against Oregon. He was in "fair" condition early last week, before being upgraded to "good" condition last Thursday. Multiple teammates wrote on Twitter on Thursday that Collins had been released from the hospital.
