CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State women's rowing team opens its fall season this weekend in a big way with back-to-back events on Saturday and Sunday. The Beavers head to the Head of the American in Sacramento, Calif. on Saturday, before turning out and heading up to Portland for the Portland Fall Classic on Sunday.
The Beavers are entering boats in three categories at the Head of the American. The day will kick off for OSU in the Women's Collegiate 2-, followed by the Women's Collegiate 8+ and the Women's Collegiate 4+.
The event is held at Nimbus Flat State Park and racing takes place on Lake Natoma and features over 60 rowing clubs in attendance.
