The Oregon State women’s basketball team (6-2) was just shy of setting a new single game scoring record in their blowout win over San Jose State (2-7), 110-62. Back in 1982, the Beavers scored 117 points against Portland State, and in the first quarter of Sunday’s contest it felt like they were gunning for the record.
Six Beavers scored in double figures as everyone scored for the home team. Marie Glulich led the way with 22 points to go along with 11 rebounds to notch her second double-double of the year. Taylor Kalmer scored 19 points, making it five games she has scored at least 10 so far this season.
