Every year Capital One gives out the Capital One Cup to the school with the most athletic success across all sports. Schools are ranked to see how they stacked up against each other and Oregon State was among the top 25 on that list this year, tying with Notre Dame at #24 taking home 36 points. The beavers were on of 7 teams from the PAC-12 in the top 25. They were lead by the Lady Beaver basketball team who had a record setting season finishing with a 32-5 record. The team consisted of PAC-12 Player of the Year Jamie Weisner and PAC-12 Defensive Player of the Year Ruth Hamblin.
