Oregon State starting wide receiver Seth Collins has been updated to "good condition" at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis, the hospital said Thursday morning.
Collins, who was hospitalized with an illness Sunday, had previously been in "fair condition" since Monday.
Benton County officials released a statement Monday stating that an Oregon State undergraduate student had been admitted to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center for "suspected meningococcal disease."
Citing privacy restrictions, OSU vice president of university relations and marketing Steve Clark said he could not comment on whether Collins was the student.
