After months of waiting, we finally have Oregon State sports again. The Washington State Cougars have come down to Corvallis to kick off the football season. Both teams will be very different from last season; the Beavers will have a new starting QB in Tristan Gebbia and a brand new offensive line, the Cougars have an all new coaching staff and a true freshman Quarterback.
Adding some interest to the matchup, Washington State will be without starting Running Back Max Borghi. With the Cougar offense moving from the Mike Leach Air Raid to the Nick Rolovich Run and Shoot, Borghi was expected to play a big role, and was the team’s biggest returning scoring threat from last season.
