A week after a construction crew found prehistoric mammoth bones under Reser Stadium's north end zone, merch madness has begun at Oregon State University.
A $12 T-shirt featuring a wooly mammoth on the OSU football field and "#DAMBONEYARD," has popped up in the online Beaver Store.
For now, the cotton shirt comes only in white. Oh, and the first two runs of 500 shirts have already sold out, said OSU spokesman Steve Clark.
But more merchandise is in the works. In fact, Clark said the university has granted licenses to T-shirt and hoodie manufacturer FanPrint to start selling OSU-branded gear with different mammoth designs.
