While the rest of the Pac-12 spent their Saturday attempting to set a new mark for futility throughout the proclaimed “Conference of Champions”, Oregon State managed to handle their business on-the-court and outclassed an over-matched Central Connecticut State squad, 80-59.
The victory pushes the Beavers overall record to 8-4 on the season (5-1 at home) heading into the new year.
Utilizing a dominant first-half which saw Oregon State enter the mid-game break with 50-21 advantage, head coach Wayne Tinkle’s group never allowed the Blue Devils back into the contest, despite being outscored by eight in the final twenty minutes of action.
