CORVALLIS – Chance Nolan scored the game-winning touchdown with 33 seconds left to lift Oregon State to a rivalry win 41-38 over Oregon Friday evening at Reser Stadium in Corvallis.
Nolan's fourth-down run capped off a 55-yard drive that began with under two minutes to play, as the Beavers landed the last punch in a back-and-forth matchup. Oregon State didn't take its first lead until the fourth quarter, and neither side led by more than 12 at any point.
Jermar Jefferson rushed for 226 yards, a record for the Oregon State-Oregon rivalry game, and the 11th-most yards by a Beaver running back in any game.
