It won’t go down as the prettiest or most convincing of Oregon State victories, but in the world of college basketball, you take a win in any way that you can get it. And that’s exactly the game-plan that the Beavers followed on Saturday night in Corvallis, when they held off a determined Arizona State squad, 79-75, for their 14th win of the 2017-2018 season.
Anchored by the usual set of solid performances from forwards Drew Eubanks (16 points, 8 rebounds) and Tres Tinkle (15 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists), Oregon State also got a surprise contribution from freshman Alfred Hollins, who poured in 14 points and snagged a career-high six steals on the night.
