Oregon State spring game impacted by injuries

CORVALLIS — Prominent Oregon State players lined both Reser Stadium sidelines, wearing shorts and sneakers rather than pads and helmets.

It's a natural byproduct of spring practice, when it makes no sense for a player battling any sort of injury to suit up. And those missing players yielded a variety of results for the Beavers overall during Saturday's spring game at Reser Stadium, as they competed against themselves for the 12th time.

The bad? A depleted offensive line, as projected starters Sean Harlow, Gavin Andrews, Dustin Stanton and Leo Fuimaono missed the scrimmage along with key reserves Drew Clarkson and Will Hopkins.
