CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State softball team and head coach Laura Berg announced the addition of one of the top high school pitchers in the nation on Monday, as Nerissa Eason has signed and will be eligible to compete for the Beavers starting in the 2016-17 academic year.
“We’re very excited to have Nerissa part of the Beaver family,” Berg said. “With how hard she throws and her mentality on the mound, Nerissa is going to do some great things here. She’s competitive, she’s a fighter and she’s gritty. She has a great changeup. She can go east-to-west and north-to-south.
