Oregon State's running game, already one of the Pac-12's best, could get a significant boost Saturday with the return of junior Artavis Pierce.
Beavers coach Jonathan Smith said Thursday that Pierce was probable for Washington State, as he has practiced several times this week.
Pierce suffered an elbow injury early in the second quarter of a Sept. 8 game against Southern Utah. In his absence, freshman Jermar Jefferson has flourished, as his 727 rushing yards this season is tops in the Pac-12.
Pierce ran for 259 yards in just over five quarters this season, averaging 11.
