On Wednesday morning, KGW News’ John Canzano was among the first to report that Oregon State wide receivers coach Brent Brennan has been named as the head football coach at San Jose State University. Brennan will replace Ron Caragher, who was fired this off-season after going 19-30 over a four period (2013-2016) at the school, despite inheriting a team coming off a 10-2 season in his first campaign.

Brennan has been on the Oregon State staff since 2011, when then-head coach Mike Riley, hired the Redwood City, California native away from San Jose State.
