Oregon State notches rare win at Stanford, led by Tres Tinkle and Gary Payton II

STANFORD, Calif. — Tres Tinkle had 19 points and Oregon State never trailed in a 62-50 win at Stanford that gave the Beavers their first road victory in a Pac-12 Conference game in more than a year.

Gary Payton II added 14 points and Malcolm Duvivier had 11 for Oregon State (15-8, 6-6 Pac 12), which has won three in a row.

Rosco Allen scored 12 points to lead Stanford (11-11, 4-7), which lost its fourth consecutive game.

It was just the second win by Oregon State at Stanford since 1993.
