CORVALLIS – The Oregon State University Athletics Department mourns the loss of women's athletics pioneer Pat Ingram, who has passed away at the age of 90.
Ingram played a pivotal role in the evolvement of women's intercollegiate athletics on the national and local scale during the era of the passage of Title IX. She served in various rolls at Oregon State from 1969-1988, including as the first director of OSU's Women's Intercollegiate Athletic Department.
"The entire department here at Oregon State joins the Ingram family in mourning Pat's passing," said Scott Barnes, Oregon State Vice President and Director of Athletics.
