PORTLAND, Ore. – The Oregon State men's rowing hit the road early heading north to Portland to compete at the Portland Fall Classic on the Willamette River Sunday morning.
The Beavers entered three boats, the Woodman, the Dirth, and the Hansen into the Men's Collegiate Division I Varsity 8+ category. They were the only entrants in their respective division.
Coxed by Ben Garrison, the Woodman rowed to a first place finish in the first event of the day. Powered by Nick Taylor, Gregory Adelman, Tyler Gray, Nick Touchette, Ezra Glickman, Hunter Smith, Max McDonald and Emerson, the Beavers traversed the course in 17-minutes 5.
