CORVALLIS -- If Oregon State men's basketball has been affected by the departure of point guard JaQuori McLaughlin, it has yet to show.
The Beavers are on a four-game win streak that started on Nov. 26, the day McLaughlin moved out of the starting lineup in their final AdvoCare Invitational game against Marist. McLaughlin informed the coaching staff of his intention to transfer days later.
In the three games since that decision, OSU (6-3) has dramatically improved their assist-to-turnover ratio. The Beavers averaged 14.5 assists and 15.7 turnovers in their first six games, but averaged 19 assists to 11 turnovers in their last three victories.
