For some teams, success is only gauged on the last game they played, and whether you won or lost that game. In the case of the Oregon State Beavers lacrosse team, that fact isn’t true.
For the first time in school history, the Beavers cruised through the Pacific Northwest Collegiate Lacrosse conference undefeated and beating opponents by seven goals a game.
OSU’s season came to an end in Irvine, Calif. last week, as the Beavers lost the opening round of the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association nationals to Cal Poly 8-5.
“It was definitely disappointing that we didn’t get the end result that we wanted,” head coach Chad Stelling said.
