Oregon State had no answer for the USC Trojans Saturday afternoon. The Trojans' Brandon Perez led the team with 3 rbi's in a 10-1 win, in which the Beavers were dominated. The loss dropped the struggling Beavers to 12-14 in Pac-12 play.
USC jumped out to a quick early lead thanks to a Timmy Robinson triple that scored two in a three run inning in the first. The Trojans added five runs over the next two innings to take a commanding 8-0 lead after the third inning. Luke Heimlich was a victim of USC's batters as he gave up six hits and sevens runs, and was taken out in the third.
