Tres Tinkle, Oregon State's top returning scorer and rebounder, underwent successful surgery Tuesday to repair the fifth metatarsal in his right foot, according to Beavers basketball coach Wayne Tinkle.
No timetable has been set for a return to the court but Wayne Tinkle said it would likely be at least two months.
The 6-foot-8 forward injured his right foot during a rebounding drill in practice on March 1, causing the freshman to miss the final five games of the year, including Oregon State's first NCAA Tournament game in 26 years. He averaged 13.
