Oregon State head football coach Jonathan Smith named the program’s four captains for the 2020 season on Wednesday, selecting quarterback Tristan Gebbia, defensive back Jaydon Grant, defensive lineman Isaac Hodgins and linebacker Andrzej Hughes-Murray to lead the group.
Gebbia, the expected starting quarterback for the Beavers on opening day in 2020, is a redshirt junior from Calabasas, California who saw action in four games a season ago. His crucial one start came against rival Oregon, where he led threw for 243 yards and completed 26 of his 40 passing attempts.
