Gary Andersen doesn't want to overwork his workhorse Storm Barrs-Woods in August. So utilizing the depth at the running back position will be key for the Oregon State Beavers not only in fall camp but also throughout the season.
"We've got to have those kids step up and ready to play," Andersen said Wednesday of OSU's young running back corps. "They'll be challenged and they've been challenged mightily by (position coach Telly Lockette) and the rest of the offensive staff and myself. We're gonna need two or three running backs to have any chance (in Pac-12 play).
