Oregon State football practice report: Noah Togiai edging closer to ready, Jake Luton shines

CORVALLIS – As one of the few players wearing a protective non-contact white jersey, Noah Togiai has stuck out through most of Oregon State’s preseason camp.

But the past two practices, the OSU junior tight end shed white for orange, a signal that he’s inching closer to full health following offseason ankle surgery.

Monday was the first time Togiai, a second-team all-Pac 12 tight end in 2017, went through an entire practice. He even participated in some plays during the 11-on-11 team period.

“I was on a roll. I was feeling good. Coaches were trying to take me out, but I kept saying no,” Togiai said.
