CORVALLIS – To borrow a phrase from professional golf, Tuesday was Moving Day for Oregon State football.
As soon as the team finished a 90-minute practice shortly after noon at Prothro Fields, the players dashed into Valley Football Center to change and dive into a quick lunch. Meanwhile, large semi-trucks sat in the parking lot, waiting to be loaded with equipment. Buses would soon follow, to transport players and coaches.
The destination for all is Bend, where the Beavers will take part in a practice road trip. The team will spend Tuesday night, Wednesday and Thursday in Bend to acclimate to Smith’s preference on handling road trips.
