Mr. Gebbia. Mr. Calabasas. Mr. ESPN 300. Before stepping a foot on campus, Tristan Gebbia had a long list of accolades that he would be forced to take on. But fortunately for both him and Beaver Nation, Tristian loves the spotlight and in addition, has the craft and working tenacity to achieve it. Hailing originally from Calabasas in Southern California, a place more known through the likes of Kanye West and Drake, Gebbia is a pro style gun slinger who brings a lot of talk and flare through his game as well. When Mike Riley was fired from his Nebraska tenure following the 2017 season and losing out on the starting job to Adrian Martinez, Tristan looked no further than Jonathan Smith, who was recruiting him with Washington.
