Oregon State Football: Isaac Hodgins Out Eight Weeks With Foot Injury

Oregon State got its first piece of bad news out of their fall camp today, as a foot injury will leave Defensive End Isaac Hodgins out of the lineup for up to eight weeks. Hodgins had been absent from practice yesterday, and today the team announced he had undergone foot surgery after an injury he sustained Saturday..

Hodgins is a veteran presence on Oregon State’s defensive line, having been a full time starter for the past three seasons. Over that time he’s picked up 38 solo tackles and 5.0 sacks. With Hodgins out for a good chunk of time, expect to see Jeromy Reichner or Tavis Shippen to get more snaps.
