CORVALLIS - Artavis Pierce was with a group of young teammates watching live when Victor Bolden scored his first professional touchdown.
"I expected he was going to break one," Pierce said.
Trevon Bradford saw it as well and soon texted the former Oregon State receiver whose 104-yard kickoff return Saturday could help him find a spot on the San Francisco 49ers' 53-man roster as an undrafted free agent.
"I'm really proud of Vic," Bradford said. "He helped me out a lot when we got here. He was my roommate when we would travel.
