BEND - Not every day of preseason football camp has to involve putting on pads, hitting teammates and running routes under a smoky sky and searing sun.
Part of building a team is learning about teammates off the field, and to that end, Oregon State took to the bowling alley Wednesday afternoon in Bend.
It didn't take long until this was clear: none of the players are on a fast track for the Professional Bowlers Association.
But high scores - there were a few, but many more under 100 - wasn't the point of Wednesday's exercise.
