CORVALLIS – The hoots and hollers that emanated from the Gill Coliseum hallways Thursday night never indicated that Oregon State's record would be 0-0 at Friday's sunrise.
Freshman Drew Eubanks wore a mile-wide smile as his teammates pridefully surrounded him on his way down the staircase to the Beavers' locker room, less than two hours after he was an admitted bundle of nerves.
"I came in (to the game), not even 30 seconds go by and I'm already out of breath," Eubanks said. "I'm hyperventilating. I can't breath."
He went on to finish with 16 points (5 for 9), 10 rebounds, five blocks and two steals.
